Surprise move of the season ang pagiging cover girl ng first and only back- to-back number one sexiest woman of the world ng FHM sa competition nito this September for Maxim's second anniversary issue.

Hush-hush pa ito pero may nakapagbulong na sa amin and Katrina quietly confirmed this to us during her launching as Octo-Arts newest exclusive contract star.

Hindi naman ito sagot sa pagiging number two na lang this year ni Katrina sa FHM after she was dethroned by Marian Rivera. This is just a proof that Katrina is really considered the sexiest today dahil ultimong competition - at ABS Publishing ito ha - is giving her this special treatment na pang-cover girl sa anniversary issue.

SPEAKING of Katrina Halili and Magdusa Ka, her competition today is her ally this December.

It is only through other film outfits like Regal Films and Octo-Arts ang kayang mapagsama ang mga Kapuso at Kapamilya stars in their movies.

Like ngayon, lording sina Dennis Trillo and Katrina Halili sa afternoon block with their Sine Novela na Magdusa Ka after Daisy Siete at patapos na today ng week eleven so five more weeks to go na lang.

Ang katapat nito, ang soap naman ni Roxanne Guinoo, her very first soap din just like Katrina.

Although magkalaban ang shows nila ngayon, by December, sila naman ang magtutulong for the Octo-Arts movie na One Night Only kasama sina Angelica Panganiban and Valerie Concepcion written and directed by Joey Reyes.

Maliit talaga ang mundo ng showbiz.

JOINT anniversary celebration ang Proudly Filipina at University of the Philippines.

One year na ang wo-men-empowerment prog-ram ni Charlene Gonzales-Muhlach sa Q-11 na every Friday at 7:15 p. m. at isang daang taon naman ang premier state university of the country, so Charlene will get to interview three outstanding alumnae of UP for its spe-cial episode tonight, mga dating 'iskolar ng bayan' so to speak.

The three guests are Dr. Emerlinda Roman, ang centennial president na kauna-unahang babaing naging presidente ng UP, Associate Justice of the Supreme Court Teresita de Castro na nag-umpisa bilang isang legal clerk at ang TV news reporter na TOYM award recipient last year na si Kara David.

Proudly Filipina recently got an award din, Gold Camera award sa 2008 U. S. International Film & Video Festival.
