Paolo on EB Babe Lian: We're more than friends

ACTOR Paolo Contis seemed to have found his new girl after ending three years of relationship with Isabel Oli.

Paolo officially admitted on live television that he is in love with Eat Bulaga (EB) dancer Lian Paz, former girlfriend of actor Mark Herras.

"We are not friends. We're more than friends," Paolo said.

Paolo and Lian were seen in Boracay during the holiday break. They admitted that they also had a trip to Macau before that.

Asked if it is safe to say that they are a couple now, Paolo said, "We still cannot say that we are a couple now. We are formally dating. And we enjoy each other's company."

Paolo admitted that he is in love with Lian. Although there are some who are against their budding relationship, Paolo said intrigues do not affect his feelings instead making it more intense.

"No one has the right to judge her. It's unfair. For those who are just pretending saying that they are concern or whatever, I already know you. It doesn't affect me because I am falling for her more," he said.

Lian, on the other hand, has her all-praised with her newly-found lover. "I am so happy and thankful that for the first time, someone defends me. I like his sense of humor and there are no dull moments with Paolo. He is very protective and I feel so secure with him."

Lian also said that with Paolo's good personality, at this early, he already won the approval of the dancer's parents. "My family trusts him."

The two disclosed that their terms of endearment are Bebe and Paolito.

Paolo, meanwhile, denied that his friend Dingdong Dantes, who was with him in Boracay, is also courting an EB Babe member. "No. He's not courting anyone from EB Babes. We are really close. He was even one of the first people whom I introduced Lian."

If Paolo has Lian, Isabel is reportedly linked to a basketball player. What Paolo has to say on this, "I am happy for her." (JRDB/Sunnex)
