She even reiterated this during the story conference of ABS-CBN's upcoming soap Maruja which will be her first acting project as a Kapamilya. " Hindi naman totoo [ na aahasin ko si Piolo from Angel Locsin]. [It's just that] when I first saw him I was so star struck. And siyempre marami kang namimeet na artista pero talagang nung nakita ko siya talagang sobrang star struck. Pero yun lang naman yun," she said. ABS-CBN.com caught up with Piolo at the ABS-CBN Christmas Special at Araneta Coliseum last Tuesday night (December 16) where he told us that given a chance, he would also like to work with the pretty singer-actress. " Ah oo naman, oo naman. Excited nga ako when I saw her last Sunday sa ASAP eh. Hopefully, merong project for us together. Oo naman, I'd like to work with her." When told how he unknowingly captivated the singer-actress with his dashing good looks, the Love Me Again star didn't know to react except to say, " Sobra naman!" He then recalled the time when Karylle reportedly got dumbfounded by the sight of him alone. "Dingdong (Dantes) and I were shooting for a Ponds commercial and she came to visit, tapos yun. But I don't think that was the first time we met. I think we have met before," he shared. Surprisingly, Piolo is still not used to the fact that he's simply irresistible to lots of women (and some men) including his colleagues in show business. But even if many female stars dream of sharing the screen with him, Piolo maintained that he doesn't let such words of praise get into his head. " Nakakataba ng puso sobra. It's overwhelming. But at the end of the day trabaho lang. Hindi ko pwede personalin eh kasi baka lumaki ulo [ ko]. So ako I just treat it as a blessing and at the same time nakakatuwa because tulad na lang ni Karylle, I was excited when she transferred and nabasa ko sa write-up [ yung mga sinabi niya about me], nakakatuwa.
