Piolo opts to be silent about KC

WHILE most stars with upcoming teleseryes usually pursue a love angle with their respective partners, Piolo Pascual would rather not comment on his courtship with KC Concepcion anymore.

During the recent press conference for Kimmy Dora, a film produced by Piolo, the actor said he prefers not to talk about it because a lot of things are "taken out of context."

"So, about the courtship, sometimes it hurts when you hear something and it is different from what I said. It's hard to avoid especially because we have a soap but if you ask me personally, I don't want to talk about it anymore. What you see is what you get. Because I also have to protect the trust and respect her (KC) parents are giving me," he said.

Piolo admitted that he does not want to hear comments about him courting KC only on camera.

"I will just keep it to myself because it's hard when people say that I shouldn't be courting on cam. Instead of me getting hurt, I'd choose not to comment anymore. I won't speak about it. I don't want to say I'm a snob. I always say things that are coming from my heart. That's why when it comes to things like this I'd rather keep my silence."

When asked to react to Piolo's statement, KC said in a separate interview, that any girl in general would like to see if a guy's intentions are true, whether or not he is an actor.

"Even if the guy may be non-showbiz, I want to see if he is true to himself, not only because people are watching or there is a camera," she said.

What's more important for KC is the private time spent with the person.

"The most important thing for me... with my friends or with guys whose intention I already know is my private time with them. Those times when you're not really doing anything... the many little things," she shared.

KC added: "Like what my Lolo said, the many few things, are many still." (Angela Casauay/Sunnex)
