Raymart sumabak sa drama sa 'Claudine'

ANG role na gagampanan ni Claudine Barretto sa unang episode ng kanyang bagong drama anthology, Claudine, is nothing new to her.

Titled Alzheimer, it's the story of a woman whose husband suddenly gets afflicted with Alzheimer's disease.

In the dictionary, "Alzheimer" is referred to as a disease associated with a common form of dementia. It is of unknown cause beginning in the late middle age, characterized by progressive memory loss and mental deterioration, associated with brain damage.

"It's a dramatic piece," ani Claudine. "Kaya, challenge ito para sa amin ni Raymart (Santiago, her husband) with whom I'm teamed-up here. "

Contrary to reports, this is not the first time that husband and wife are acting together in a drama show.

Years back, when both hardly had an inkling that they would end up with each other, they already did a drama show together.

"Magaling na actor na si Raymart noon pa man," sabi ni Claudine. "Kaya, cautious ako with every scene we do together. "

Although nakasama na ni Claudine sa drama series, Iisa Pa Lamang on ABS-CBN, si Laurice Guillen, hindi pa siya naididirek nito.

Sa Iisa Pa Lamang kasi, pareho silang artista.

"Kaya excited akong maidirek niya," pahayag ni Claudine. "After all, isa siya sa pinakamagaling na babaing director ng ating panahon.

"I've seen some of her works. She's truly admirable," susog pa ng aktres.

According to Claudine, the drama anthology will run for 26 weeks.

Naka-schedule rin niyang simulan ang kanyang movie with Viva Films any time now.

To be titled In Your Eyes, makakasama niya sa pelikula sina Anne Curtis at Richard Gutierrez.

The idea of working with other talents and directors for the first time excites Claudine.

Halimbawa raw sina Anne at Richard, never did she imagine na makakatrabaho niya ang mga ito. Lalo na si Direk Joel Lamangan, who has been tapped na humawak ng In Your Eyes.

Other directors nga pala na nakatakdang magdirek sa Claudine include Mac Alejandre, Joyce Bernal and, of course, Direk Joel.

Sharon takes to Juday as a sister since they appeared in the movie, Magkapatid, where the enviable closeness between them developed.

They have not stopped communicating, kahit pa sabihing years na ang nagdaan mula nang gawin nila ang Magkapatid for Viva Films.

It goes without saying, therefore, na isa rin si Sharon sa mga unang nakaalam ng wedding plans nina Juday at Ryan noong nakaraang taon.
