Rica Peralejo and fiancé Joseph Bonifacio plan a beach wedding

Rica Peralejo graced the Star Magic Ball last August 30 with fiancé Joseph Bonifacio in tow. Wearing a Francis Libiran gown, Rica said that time flew so fast that she did not notice that it has already been a year since the last Star Magic Ball.

While the couple revealed that they are busy with the wedding preparations, they chose to keep the exact date a secret. "Soon. Basta abangan niyo na lang. Basta we're choosing between December and January."

In the meantime, Rica said they'll continue working on their dream wedding. " Yun naman ang bilin ng lahat, eh. Why would you make a wedding that is not your dream? Of course, gusto namin relax lang, hindi yun [nasa] hotel. Napag-desiyunan namin it's a beach wedding."

Rica revealed that they also some wedding jitters, but it's more about being pressured about time. " Siyempre meron parang minsan kikabahan ako, feeling ko baka bukas na yung wedding. Feeling ko I'm pressed for time pero I'm really happy that I have an active partner, unlike yung sa iba na silent lang and they just say yes to everything. With us talaga, it's a partnership. Kung hindi lang porque ako yung bride I'm the only one planning everything."

They have not yet finalized their entourage and guest list, but principal sponsors will include Pin Antonio and Connie Reyes and the entourage will have Rica's Umagang Kay Ganda co-hosts Pinky Webb and Kim Atienza, Rica's sister Paula Peralejo as her maid of honor, and Joseph's brother as the best man.

Rica jokingly said that after the wedding, she will be looking forward to a lot of misunderstandings because they definitely will always be a part of a married couple's life together. " Naku, nilu-look forward ko na yung mga away namin. [Kasi] sa amin kaya kami nagkasundong dalawa kasi we're the kind of couple na hindi lang for good times. Yung gusto naming malaman ano ba yun mga things na will test us and from there grow and mag-mature."

While Rica wants to have three kids in the future, Joseph wants at least four. When it comes to choosing between Rica's showbiz career or being a full-time housewife, Joseph said that he will let Rica decide. " Ako [I'll go for] whatever brings her joy. I can see that there's a part of her work that she enjoys. She enjoys singing, she enjoys hosting. Ako I'm all for that. Pinag-usapan naman namin yun, eh. Basta sa aming dalawa priority pa rin ang isa't-isa at pamilya namin over her work or mine," Joseph said. Rica added that it is one of the things they need to lift up to God. " Naiisip ko rin yun. Actually minsan gusto ko plain housewife lang ako, minsan naman gusto ko may trabaho so we'll see where God takes us we'll pray about it," Rica said.
