Robin on going sexy: 'Why not?'

MANILA - Actor Robin Padilla, a famed action star, said he is open to trying sexy roles if a script calls for it.

Dubbed as the "Bad boy of the Philippines Movies", Padilla said that he is "willing to do everything" to improve his film projects. Padilla shared he is willing to go "all the way" for the sake of art.

"Ako naman ay nagpipilit ding maging artista. Walang problema sa akin 'yon basta may kinalaman sa art," Padilla told "SNN: Showbiz News Ngayon."

"Kung talagang kinakailangan, hindi isyu sa akin 'yon. Sayang naman ang practice ko kung itatago ko lang," he added.

Currently, Padilla is gearing up for his upcoming film project with Star Cinema. Reports said he might be paired with actress-host Toni Gonzaga or Bea Alonzo.

Padilla said that, if given a chance, he would like to work with actresses Kris Aquino and Sharon Cuneta, who were romantically linked with him in the past.

"Alam mong idolo ko si Ms. Sharon Cuneta. Si Kris na man ay my 'you and me againt the world.' Walang pwedeng humandlang kung may pagkakataon at maganda ang binibigay na pagkakataon," he said.
