Roxanne Guinoo reacts on the brewing romance between Jake Cuenca and Melissa Ricks Author: Rachelle Siazon Though Roxanne Guinoo and Jake Cuenca have already called it quits and put their past behind them, the two were seen avoiding each other during the story conference of Precious Hearts Romance TV series (featuring the story Bud Brothers) where they will be paired with different partners. Jake bonded with fellow Coverboys Rafael Rosell and Will Devaughn while Roxanne stayed beside Ahron Villena and Guji Lorenzana who are also part of the cast. Apparently, exchanging his and hellos is enough for the two as they have completely moved on with their lives. " Wala lang. More chika more fun ba? Hindi naman [sa nagdedeadmahan kami], may kanya-kanya lang talaga kaming business. Basta lahat dito normal sa amin ang magbatian. And parang lately wala naman kaming issue so ayoko nang [maintriga na naman]. Hindi ko alam kung merong part sa story na magkakasama kami sa ending together with the eight other team-ups. Iba-iba kasing pair yung iha-highlight per week and sa ngayon wala pa kaming idea kung paano mako-connect yung bawat storya. Pero ang alam ko, kapartner ko si Guji (Jake will be paired with Cristine Reyes)," Roxanne revealed in an interview with ABS-CBN.com. She kept silent though on the supposed brewing romance between her ex-boyfriend and fellow Star Circle Questor Melissa Ricks, insisting that she and Jake respect each other's privacy. " Personal nila yun. Ako wala akong pwedeng i-comment because yung personal life ko hindi din naman nila pinakikialaman. Tapos na yung sa amin ni Jake so ayoko nang mag-comment," said Roxanne who has been hounded by various controversies since their breakup. The 23-year-old actress also refused to make a big deal out of the fact that her non-showbiz boyfriend got dragged into the shooting incident involving Jake's SUV last February. " Ang amin lang naman kasi, kung may proof naman walang problema eh. May mga taong malinis lumaban so kabilang kami dun, yun lang." Roxanne happily shared that her non-showbiz boyfriend came into her life when she least expected it. "He's a friend of a friend. Hindi ko naman hinanap pero yun yung binigay eh, blessing yun. Kaya oo naman happy ako. May work tayo, may love life, masaya ang family, ano pa bang hahanapin mo 'di ba?" But she wants to keep their relationship as low profile as possible to avoid being besieged with intrigues. "Choice ko rin naman eh and hindi naman kasi showbiz yung tao. Hindi naman ako naging madamot sa mga past relationships ko so this time kung iintrigahin ako sarili ko na lang. Huwag na natin siyang idamay kasi yung pamilya nila hindi sanay sa buhay showbiz." When asked to describe the qualities she loves most about her new BF, Roxanne stressed that she has found someone who will never let her down no matter what. " Yung i-respeto ka bilang babae malaking factor na yun at mahalin ka rin na alam mo na non-showbiz siya, showbiz ako. Alam mo na risk din yung pinapasok niya eh.
