Ruffa at John Lloyd, sabay magbi-birthday sa Tate

VICKY Morales was the only newscaster present sa nakaraang 25th Star Awards ng Philippine Movie Press Club (PMPC) sa Henry Lee Irwin Theater ng Ateneo University.

Nominated si Vicky sa Darling of the Press award.

Unfortunately, Vicky did not score a win. The trophy went to Quezon City Vice Mayor Herbert Bautista.

Aside from the news program Saksi, Vicky has another show on GMA-7, Wish Ko Lang!, aired every Saturday. It show features people's wishes for themselves or other people.

Since karamihan sa mga hinihiling nila ay simple lang at, wika nga, attainable, napagbibigyan sila ni Vicky. Actually, kay dami nang napagbigyan ng show para makapagsimula ng sari-sari store.

Last Saturday, ang feature nila ay tungkol sa dating beauty queen na naging successful businesswoman ding si Aurora Sevilla.

Anuman ang nangyari kay Aurora, masasabi ngang tayo talaga ang may hawak ng ating kapalaran. As she revealed, she lost her millions dahil sa pagkalulong sa masamang bisyo.

Aurora has two children, one of whom is the son of a royalty.

Coincidence lang ba, o, talagang may usapan sina Ruffa Gutierrez at John Lloyd Cruz na palipasin ang kanilang birthday, which happen to fall on the same date, June 24, sa Amerika?

Ruffa is leaving with her two daughters and parents, Eddie Gutierrez and Annabelle Rama, to spend her birthday in Beverly Hills, California.

John Lloyd naman has a concert with fellow Star Magic talents, also in California.

It was Kris Aquino, Ruffa's co-host sa The Buzz, who noticed that Ruffa and John Lloyd share the same birthday at pareho ring magpapalipas ng kanilang kaarawan abroad.

In fairness kay John Lloyd, sa kanyang presscon organized by Biogesic, he denied na may something more than meets the eye sa kanila ni Ruffa.

Isa pang ayaw i-discuss ni John Lloyd ay ang balitang break na sila ng girlfriend of three years na si Liz Uy, fashion editor at stylist.

Kasalukuyan pang nasa Europe si Liz with Anne Curtis and cousins Isabelle Diaz-Daza and Georgina Wilson.

Naunang dumating sa Pilipinas noong Sabado si Raymond Gutierrez, kapatid ni Ruffa, who was originally with Liz's group.

Nagpi-primadonna nga ba si Cristine Reyes kaya kinaiinisan ng co-stars sa kanyang kasalukuyang programa sa ABS-CBN?

Not only si Lykaboo (Leo Bukas), kung hindi kami rin at siguradong marami pang iba, ang nakapansin na walang eksena si Cristine sa last episode ng Banana Split.

Kung sabagay, lahat ng babaing members ng cast ng Banana Split, including Angelica Panganiban at Pokwang, minimal ang exposure sa nabanggit na episode.

Did we also hear it right na balak na talaga ni Cristine na bumalik sa GMA-7, where she really started her showbiz career?
