SIS will celebrate its 8th anniversary, August 24-28

The GMA-7 morning show, SIS, celebrates its eighth anniversary with an exciting week-long special dubbed "Todo Panalo sa Otso! The Sis Anniversary Specials!"

Five live episodes featuring the biggest and brightest Kapuso stars will air from August 24 to August 28, 2009. Each episode is filled with different gimmicks and surprises that only SIS hosts Carmina Villaroel, Gelli de Belen, and Janice de Belen can give.

Kicking off the week-long celebration are top Kapuso comedians, who will face off on SIS game floor. The original SIS games and challenges reach the next level and become even more exciting! Find out who among Cookie, Belli Flori, Bubay, Kim Dinosaur, Tuesday Vargas, Crissa Mae, Chariz Solomon and Wilma Doesn't will reign supreme after going through the tough combination of challenges.

Kapuso Love Teams fill the second day of the anniversary week with love and kilig! Rosalinda's Carla Abellana and Geoff Eigenmann, All My Life's Aljur Abrenica and Kris Bernal, Tarot's Dennis Trillo and Marian Rivera, and other love team partners pair up to double the fun with stories that will have viewers believing in the power of love.

Wednesday is hot seat day for some Kapuso stars. Watch Janice, Gelli and Carmina ask their eight toughest questions to eight of the most respected names in the showbiz industry. Included in the list are Joey de Leon, Michael V., and Manny Pacquiao.

Thursday features the best Kapuso singers who will all go through a tough showdown of vocal prowess on the fourth day of the SIS anniversary week. On the A Side are R&B Prince Jay-R, Soul Princess Kyla, La Diva's Jonalyn Viray and SOP's Gian Magdangal. The B-Side includes one of OPM scene's most admired and talked about band: Aegis. It's a Side A vs. Side B episode that music lovers wouldn't want to miss.

It's party time on Friday as the week is culminated by heating up the floor! The best Kapuso dancers show off their best moves to the tune of hit songs popularized by different international hitmakers. Dance idols Mark Herras, Ryza Cenon, Rochelle Pangilinan, Sexbomb Girls and a lot more will definitely bring the house down with big time production numbers.
