Column: Entertainment Singer Sarah Geronimo admitted that it is her decision not to get involved in a romantic relationship especially now that she is focusing on her career not only as a singer but also as an actress.
Geronimo also denied speculations that it was her mother Divina who was the one asking her not to entertain possible suitors.
The singer stressed that she decided not to have a boyfriend since she is not yet prepared for a commitment.
"Ayaw ko kasing manggaling sa iba't ibang relasyon. Gusto ko kapag ready na ako 'yon na talaga. Ayaw ko kasi ng iba-iba. Gusto ko kasi siya ay siya na talaga," Geronimo said.
Geronimo also shared that she maintains communication with her rumored showbiz crush, actor Rayver Cruz.
"Si Rayver po ay maganda ang relasyon namin ngayon. Nag-uusap po kami, nagte-text. Ngayon po ay magkasama kami sa pelikula," she added.
Cruz and Geronimo are currently taping for Star Cinema's post-Valentine movie "You Changed My Life".
The singing champion said that though she is not thinking of having her first boyfriend, she is also not closing her heart to Cruz, the young man who admitted that he wants to know Geronimo better.
"(Si Rayver) pwede din naman po. (Yung pagdating ng love?) Sana dumating po," she said.
"Wala namang masama kung maging magkakilala kami at hindi din naman kasi ibig sabihin na kung maging close kami ay magiging mag-boyfriend-girlfriend na kami," she explained.
Asked if she's thrilled whenever people link her to Cruz, Geronimo replied: "Opo kasi kapag di ako kinilig baka may mali na," she ended. Source: ABS-CBN News |
