| Sharlene San Pedro in horror film with JudayColumn: Entertainment abs-cbnNEWS.com ABS-CBN talent and child star Sharlene San Pedro shared that she just finished shooting her first film with actress Judy Ann Santos, entitled "Kulam." "Okay po siya mabait po siyang ka-trabaho," Sharlene told abs-cbnNEWS.com. The child actress said that for the said film she will portray the role of a blind girl and the daughter of Judy Ann's character. "Ako po ay bulag dito, hindi ako mangkukulam," she said. Sharlene declined to give more details about her role and instead told members of entertainment press to watch the movie. "Panoorin niyo na lang po ang movie." Still, she couldn't help but give away what happens later to her character. "Sa huli po ay makakakita ako, magkakaroon po ako ng mata - ng paningin," she said. Matinee idol Dennis Trillo will also star in the Regal Films production. Behind the camera Sharlene's biggest dream however is to become a great director someday. "Ang dream ko po actually wala na po talaga maliban lang sa gusto kong maging director," she said, adding that she would like to direct a horror film in the future with her favorite-- Judy Ann Santos as the leading star. "Si Ate Juday pa din po. Hindi naman tumatanda ang mukha ni Ate Juday," she explained. Sharlene is a Grade IV pupil of His Sanctuary Christian Academy in Bulacan and she's studying hard to achieve her dream. "Nag-aaral po ako sa Bulacan, pero hindi po regular student... through module po," she said. San Pedro just turned 9 last April 5. She said she received her birthday gift - a computer--from her mom and dad. And for her birthday she wished: "Sana po ay maging director at sana po ay magkaroon ng madaming show at ma-bless ang lahat ng tao. Sharlene San Pedro joined ABS-CBN's Star Circle Kid Quest in 2004, after which she starred in her own teleserye, "Calla Lily" and "Princess Sarah." She is now a regular castmember of the kiddie gag show "Goin' Bulilit." Sharlene also appeared in the fantasy-drama series "Lobo" as the young Angel Locsin, and in "Kung Fu Kids" where she had a cameo role. Source: ABS-CBN News |
