Star Magic Ball, a much-awaited event

It was year 2007 when the leading and premiere star maker, ABS-CBN Star Magic, thought of holding an annual extravagant occasion called Star Magic Ball. This much-awaited event is considered one of the biggest gatherings of stars in the local industry.

On August 30, 2009, the third Star Magic Ball shall be held in Makati Shangri-La Hotel. Barely two weeks before the ball, everyone is wrapping all the details from invites, program and other logistics.

The artists are ecstatic with the upcoming ball.

Star Magic artists share why they are looking forward on this traditional event.

Sam Milby: "It's always good to be with your family. Star Magic is my family."

Shaina Magdayao: "It's our bonding time with all my "kapatid" in Star Magic, our busy handlers, road managers and most especially our bosses. It is the time when we don't have time to think about work and just be ourselves."

Bettina Carlos: "This is my first ball and I'm excited to meet new Kapamilyas. It's perfect occasion to gather everyone, make friends and build new friendship."

Dino Imperial: "Star Magic Ball is a cool event where most of the beautiful Star Magic celebrities get together and party."

Xian Lim: "I'm excited because it's a once a year gathering of all Kapamilyas."
