Star Magic mourns Cory's death

MANILA - On the eve of her burial, several members Star Magic, ABS-CBN's home-based training and management program, paid their last respects to former president Corazon "Cory" Aquino.

The stars, led by Star Magic executive Johnny Manahan, arrived at the Manila Cathedral late Tuesday night. They were on board three coasters.

Empress Schuck, Beauty Gonzales, Beatriz Saw, Nene Tamayo, Janus del Prado, Saicy Aguila, Cassandra Ponti and Melissa Ricks were some of those who bid her farewell.

Pinoy Dream Academy former scholars Sen Nichols, Liezl Garcia and Bugoy Drilon were also present as well as acoustic singer Nyoy Volante and Sam Concepcion.

The hottest leading female stars of ABS-CBN like Angelica Panganiban, Shaina Magdayao and Bea Alonzo were also there.

Total Performer Vina Morales and actor John Prats also attended the wake.

Meanwhile, comedians Dencio Padilla and Ate Glow, King of Talk Boy Abunda, and Star for All Seasons and Batangas Gov. Vilma Santos also paid tribute to the former leader.
