| Star Magics March celebrantsAuthor: Malaya Star Magic recently threw a party for their March birthday celebrantss. Cass Ponti is spending most of her time in her plantation business in Davao. She recently started a fruit business in her hometown. Aside from her business, Cass continues to attend to her showbiz commitments. She is busy with her female group Koolchx which is regularly seen in "ASAP" and "Wowowee." Their "Banana Split" single in Willie Revillames album turned gold this year. They have an upcoming show in Lipa, Batangas on April 4. She is also looking forward for a project with Dolphy, Sharon Cuneta and Claudine Barretto. She celebrated her birthday last March 1 . Gian Sottos last name says it all. Being the son of veteran actress Helen Gamboa and actor-politician Tito Sotto, his interest in acting and music are not a big surprise. This funny and outgoing guy grew up in showbiz. Gian is the vocalist of Anesthesia Nerveline and is active doing gigs in the metro. He also writes songs and he is about to finish a Christian Grunge type of music. He has also appeared in "Pieta" and "Eva Fonda" apart from "Margarita." He was also visible on the big-screen where he did Cinemalaya digital film entitled "Huling Pasada" and an indie film, "Iliw." Angeli celebrated her birthday last March 9 Kathryn Bernando Kathryn Bernardo is best known as Maya, the loveteam of Makisig Morales in "Super Inggo." She looks up to Judy Ann Santos and hopes to do more projects soon. She will be seen in "Utoy" with Dolphy. Her acting abilities were tested in "Maalaala Mo Kaya," where she played the young Bea Alonzo. She looks forward to doing challenging roles. This Philadelphia School freshman marked her 13th birthday last March 26. She had a slumber party and a whole-day blowout at Ace Water spa with friends. Fred Payawal Fred Payawans career may not be in full blast but he is actually contented with the way things are going. This former "Pinoy Big Brother Teen" housemate is a regular of "Lipgloss" on TV 5 and he is glad with the good response that he is getting. Fred attends regular school at De La Salle University and is an incoming 3rd year Marketing Management student. He plans to act fulltime after college. He celebrated his 19th birthday last March 12. Quintin Alianza Among other grand winners of talent search, former "Star Circle Summer Kids" grand questor Quintin Alianza is the luckiest in terms of TV and movie appearances. He guested in ABS-CBN shows, namely "Pedro Penduko," "Homeboy," "ASAP," "Love Spell" and "Maalaala Mo Kaya." After "Shake, Rattle and Roll," Quintin was part of Star Cinemas "You Got Me" where he played the brother of Zanjoe Marrudo and also appeared as the son of Regine Velaquez in Star Cinemas "Paano Kita Iibigin." He was last seen in "Maging Sino Ka Man," "Volta" and "Kokey." Quintin turned eight last March 25. Mara Montes Mara Montes is not anymore the chubby girl in "Goin Bulilit!" She is fast growing up and starting to resemble Kristine Hermosa. She loves to attend make up workshops. Mara recently did a TV commercial which she used to do before she entered showbiz. Vangie Martelle Half Filipino-half German Vangie Martelle is passionate in pursuing her dream of becoming a singer-actress like her idol Sarah Geronimo. The PETA stage performer, guested in "Your Song: Underage" and is regularly seen in "ASAP 09" along with her Star Circle 16 batchmates. She celebrated her 14th birthday last March 24. Paw Diaz Former Star Circle Questor Paw Diaz is about to take her final two terms in college and hopefully graduate at the Asian Institute for Distance Education next year. Paw is preparing for a summer re-run of "A Street Car Named Desire." This potential beauty queen was recently seen in "Wowowee" and "A Very Special Love." Paw is also excited about filming a Star Cinema movie where she will be working with Vilma Santos and John Lloyd Cruz. She spent her 22nd birthday last March 16 treating friends to a pizza party. Thou Reyes is the effective meanie in "I Love Betty La Fea" He is often asked if he is really gay in real life because of his portrayal as the mean officemate of Betty. This cool guy appreciates the good comments but he stresses that he is straight. This "Ang TV" alumnus played Jay-R Siabocs friend in "Komiks Presents: Kapitan Boom" and was seen in "Kung Fu Kids." Before all his TV shows, he joined "U Can Dance" where he proved his mettle as a dancer. He is regularly seen in "ASAP 09" where he shows his best moves in "Full Circle." He has a dance group with good friend Mickey Perz. Thou turned 25 last March 28. David Chua Model-turned-actor David Chua never had an interest in joining showbusiness until he was asked by Star Magic. In his first year, he was very lucky to be part of the top-rated "My Girl," where he played the funny twin brother of Alex Gonzaga. He was seen in "My Only Hope" as the brother of Kim Chiu and is now in "May Bukas Pa," where he portrays Brother Simon who takes care of Santino. Alex Ancelmuccio Filipino-Italian Alex An-celmuccio was one of the PBB housemates in Season 2. After several guestings on television, he was chosen to be part of "Tayong Dalawa." Alex had his first acting assignment as James Espiritu and PMA friend of Gerald Anderson. He is also working with Beauty Gonzales as the latters onscreen partner. Alex admits that he needs to work hard on learning to speak Tagalog. He reads Tagalog pocketbooks during his free time. He was also chosen by Direk Joey Reyes to be part of the next ABS-CBN sitcom called "George and Cecille," starring Judy Ann Santos and Ryan Agoncillo.
