| Sunshine denies pocketing Cesars senatorial campaign fund![]() Author: Mario E. Bautista MOST people believe that Regine Velasquez and Ogie Alcasid, who are business associates for the Indie Music label, no longer hide their romantic relationship. They were so sweet at the presscon hosted by Mother Lily for Richard Gomez. In "SOP," it is obvious they have no qualms in showing their affection for each other when they joined a game where Ogie had to carry Regine while standing on a folded piece of newspaper. "Ogie said he?d announce something important in June. We won?t be surprised if it?s his admittance na on na nga sila ni Regine and he?s officially separated from his wife Michelle van Eimeren," says one writer. Now, GMA Films got them to star in their movie together, a romantic comedy with a touch of drama. It has no final title yet but its story is written by Ogie himself, to be directed by Dominic Zapata of "Super Twins." They will just have to wait for Regine to finish shooting her movie with Piolo Pascual at Star Cinema. Meantime, Ogie himself won?t be available now as he?s leaving for an eight-city concert tour in the US and Canada in May with Ai Ai de las Alas. GMA Films is hoping they can start shooting in June and finish the film by July. * * * Sunshine Cruz vehemently denies the rumor that she?s pocketing the campaign money of her husband Cesar Montano to use it for the construction of their new house. "It?s true I can be quite stingy when dealing with suppliers of campaign materials," she says. "Tumatawad ako hanggang 50%. Kasi naman, kapos kami sa pondo. Whatever we have, ?yun lang ang pilit naming pinagkakasya para umabot ito hanggang sa araw ng halalan. As much as possible, we don?t want to use our own savings intended for the future of our kids. Pero ako, willing akong magsangla ng sariling kong mga alahas para makatulong lang sa asawa ko dahil maganda talaga ang layunin niyang makapagsilbi sa publiko." Sunshine was Cesar?s representative at the presscon Aster Amoyo hosted for Chavit Sing-son. Many stars graced the affair, including Jaclyn Jose, Ma. Isabel Lopez, Vivian Velez, Gloria Sevilla, Faith Cuneta, Melissa Mendez, Annabelle Rama, Nicole Anderson and Melissa Avelino. Will she ask the help of her cousins to campaign for Cesar? "Sina Donna at Geneva, they called me up to ask how they can help. Na-touch nga ako sa mga pinsan kong ?yun." How about Sheryl? "Ever since she came home, she didn?t bother naman to get in touch with any of us, so okay lang. But if I?d have her number, tatawagan ko siya not for anything else but para magkaayos na kaming magpipinsan." * * * Andrea Bautista called us to say Diether Ocampo was never her boyfriend. "He?s just a family friend," she stresses. "Nakakahiya naman, ang ganda ng misis niya, si Kristine Hermosa." Andeng was married to Junjun Henares in November, 2005 and she?s finally pregnant with their first baby. "TalagangGod gave us the baby in His right time. ?Yung first two years namin ni Jun devoted to our adjustment to each other as a married couple and our baby will be born in November 2007," she says Andeng. She definitely made a good choice with Jun. "He?s a very loving husband. I can?t complain. Laging may pasalubong sa aking prutas pag-uwi ng bahay. He even massages me at night." We ask Jun how Andeng is as a wife? "Manang na manang siya sa pagiging maasikaso. Kung ano ang pagkakilala ko sa kanya before got married, ?yun na siya. No surprises. Ngayon lang pregnant na siya, meron siyang mood swings, but no regrets. First day ko sa med school, I saw her at pilit akong nagpakilala sa kanya. The next day, dumalaw na ko sa bahay nila. Ten years kaming on and off. Pero mukhang we?re really meant for each other." Jun is the second of three kids and only son of current Rizal Governor Ito Ynares and wife Nini. He met Andeng at medical school in La Salle Cavite. "Both of us were just convinced by our folks to take up medicine. Siya, hindi niya tinuloy. I did, but I never got to practice medicine kahit pasado ako sa board. Instead, I became the general manager of the Laguna Lake Development Authority and took up masters in public administration in UP. I attended various training conferences in China, Australia, Japan, Mexico, Canada, and I also passed the government exams for career executive service officer (CESO). Now, I?m running unopposed as Rizal governor. I know my dad?s work will be a tough act to follow as he has so many accomplishments, but I promise to do my best to serve our province, with Andeng and our coming baby by my side." * * * After the hit "Gokusen 2," GMA-7 airs another popular Japanese comic or manga in their GMA Mangaserye. This is "Hana Yori Dango" that starts this week. "Hana Yori Dango" is Japan?s live-action version of the famous manga with the same name, which means "Boys Over Flowers." It was previously turned into an anime and was later even adapted as Taiwan?s "Meteor Garden." Hailed as No. 1 drama in Japan during its run, it stars Jun Matsumoto, the male lead (Shin) in the highly-popular "Gokusen," as Tsukasa Domyouji, the leader of the infamous group F4 (Flower Four) who will figure significantly in the series. "Hana Yori Dango" revolves around Makino Tsukushi (Mao Inoue), an ordinary 16-year-old girl from a poor family. She is enrolled at Eitoku, an exclusive high school attended by the rich and famous where she crosses paths with the school?s notorious F4, a group of four young, powerful, and rich boys, and clashes with their leader, Tsukasa Domyouji. Tsukushi ends up getting the dreaded red notice, which leads to the whole school bullying her, yet she refuses to leave Eitoku. Instead, she declares war against Domyouji and his group. Tsukushi finds herself caught in a love triangle when she falls for an F4 member, Rui Hanazawa (Shun Oguri), who secretly helps her during this difficult time, while arrogant Domyouji unexpectedly develops romantic feelings for her. It airs before "24 Oras" on GMA-7. Source: Malaya |
