'The Buzz, 'E-Live' deny ban against actress Cristine Reyes

After ending a month-long rift with her sister actress Ara Mina, ABS-CBN's newest contract star actress Cristine Reyes is now facing a new controversy.

Reports say that the actress is banned from doing interviews particularly in the Kapamilya network's weekly entertainment shows "The Buzz" and "Entertainment Live."

In an interview with abs-cbnNEWS.com, "The Buzz" executive producer Nancy Yabut denied these reports.

"Hindi totoo 'yong balita na yon. Walang ganoong ban," Yabut told the news site.

Abs-cbnNEWS.com also got the side of Lani Gutierrez, the executive producer of Entertainment Live. She also denied the report.

"Hindi totoo ang isyu na 'yon, actually wala akong idea na lumalabas ang isyu na 'yon. Hindi totoo na bina-ban namin si Cristine," said Gutierrez.

The issue on the ban stemmed from reports saying that Reyes cried and was offended by an ambush interview made by the network's entertainment staff last Saturday, July 5th in Makati.

Reyes was seen watching the "URCC 12 Supremacy" with her rumored boyfriend, award-winning actor Dennis Trillo.

The video of their so-called 'date' was aired Sunday, July 6th on "The Buzz."

In the video, the two were seen watching the fights. After the bout, the entertainment staff tried to get their statement but the pair refused to give any comment.

In previous interviews, Trillo admitted that he is going out with Reyes. Trillo even said that he sees nothing wrong if he went out with the actress since he is a free man.

Reyes also admitted in a prior interview that she is dating Trillo.

Reyes and Trillo made headlines when Reyes had a public spat with Binibining Pilipinas titlist Carlene Aguilar, the former girlfriend of Trillo.

The rift started when Aguilar confronted Reyes about her relationship with the actor. Trillo had earlier admitted fathering a love child by Aguilar.

Reyes and Aguilar settled their differences before the end of 2007 and agreed to reconcile.
