Last Saturday, many areas in the National Capital Region were practically submerged in water after "Ondoy" (international name: Ketsana) relentlessly poured one of the heaviest rains in the country's history. Apart from Metro Manila, the provinces of Rizal and Bulacan were also gravely affected. In a previous documentary on the sinking islands of Maldives, Karen reported the possibility that Rizal, Bulacan, and Marikina may go underwater in the future due to climate change. As they help in rescue and relief operations, Karen and Bernadette will also look into the connection of climate change to "Ondoy," which has killed almost a hundred and affected thousands of Filipinos.
