Column: Entertainment MANILA - Apple Chiu, "The Singing Bee's" resident singer, has launched her self-titled debut album. "Thank you. This is it! Finally I'm coming out with my album after more than two years ko from the Philippine Idol," Chiu told ABS-CBN News. Chiu, who used to be a contestant of the singing competition, recorded the album under PolyEast Records. "Super excited ako at super overwhelmed ako sa nangyayari sa takbo ng career ko.... sobra sobrang pasasalamat," Chiu added. Chiu's CD features some Original Pilipino Music classics such as "Hindi Magbabago," "Paano Ba Ang Mangarap," and "Sa Kanya." The singer's former boyfriend, Miguel Mendoza, also wrote two songs - "Paano Bang Umibig?" and "Ikaw Ang Kailangan" - for her debut album. Source: ABS-CBN News |
