| The best of everythingAuthor: -- Dinna Chan Vasquez Q Channel 11 is the only channel in the country that airs American Idol and Survivor--two of the most phenomenally successful reality shows in the world. Other shows include E! Block, Dr. Phil, The Sweet Life, Reunions, News on Q, Daddylicious, Events Inc., and Fashionistas by Heart. The network recently hosted a trade show at Greenbelt 3's Cinema 2 to showcase these features. The event was conducted like a private screening in Hollywood with an audio-visual presentation that emphasized that on Q, viewers get a great serving of the best of international shows along with outstanding locally produced shows. Q further ups the ante by offering new locally produced programs for its target ABC female audience. These new programs include cooking shows Daddylicious, hosted by chef dad Niño Logarta, and Secrets of the Masters, hosted by Issa Litton; weekly lifestyle magazine program Events Inc. hosted by Tim Yap and Sam Oh; and the hottest one-hour magazine show dedicated to style and fashion, Fashionistas by Heart, hosted by Heart Evangelista with style spies Jocas de Leon and Schinina Juban. Set to air this month are Q Tube hosted by Andy Smith and Andi Manzano; Dare Duo featuring best buds Marc Nelson and Rovilson Fernandez; and the docu-reality show on "miracle stories," Chances Are, hosted by Paolo Abrera. All these new shows fit in perfectly with Q's current roster of shows, which include The Sweet Life (Lucy Torres-Gomez with Wilma Doesnt and roving reporter Grace Lee); Quickfire (chef Rosebud Benitez); House Life (Tessa Prieto-Valdes with interior designers Tristan Jovella, Aissa Gonzalez, and Marilen Faustino-Montenegros); Reunions (Jessica Soho); Ang Pinaka (Rovilson Fernadez); Fit & Fab (Maggie Wilson and Kat Alano); and news programs Balitanghali (Pia Arcangel-Halili and Raffy Tima) and News on Q (Ivan Mayrina and Rhea Santos).
