Column: Life & Entertainment Theres no better way to say goodbye to summer than to host the biggest post-summer event. Mingle, the first wave of the series, is created by Matabungkay Beach Resort and Hotel and Keep Me Posted Inc. to promote the off-peak season. It was a three-day beach bonanza with back-to-back parties and fun-filled heated games. The resort was filled with celebrities and Manilas It scene like celebrity couple Rhian Ramos and JC de Vera, host Wilma Doesnt, actress Jodi Sta. Maria with hubby Pampi Lacson, and Dino Guevarra to name a few. The guests arrived in their most refreshing post-summer look. IC Mendoza donned a fedora hats and bondage sandals upon entering the cozy classic interiors of the resort. Yes, Matabungkay Beach Resort and Hotel has been renovated and now boasts its Panama feel with a modern touch. The event was commenced with a round of dodge ball. Everyone played their best and had sunset cocktails afterwards. The night was still young and guests were already sipping their Jaegermeister shots and bottles of Antonov Vodka and Don Enrique were served. DJ Way Yao and Luke Orbos skillfully orchestrated their masterpiece. The crowd rose to their seats as Radah sang to the tunes of renowned house songs. More surprises were in store for everyone come day two as teams played a competitive game of amazing race and volleyball. A cash prize from LG and WD Western Digital was awarded to the over-all winner. Sadly, the weekend had to end and before everyone returned to their lives in Manila, Sunsilk and Hype Ardent gave away goodies for the guests to take home.
