The many faces of love

Author: Ronald Constantino

HER HEART GOES ON - "I dreamt of rainbows the night I cried every kind of tear..."

That's Karylle speaking, more accurately writing poetry. Yes, after a heartbreaking split up with Dingdong Dantes, Karylle is dreaming of rainbows once more. Her heart goes on, maybe not romantically, but personally, professionally, spiritually.

She graces the cover of the Valentine issue of 'S Magazine,' devoted to love and its many faces, including an article penned by the revered Ricky Lee, who just came up with his first novel, 'Para Kay B (O Kung Paano Dinevastate ng Pag-ibig ang 4 out of 5 sa Atin).' The article dwelt on the writing of the novel and the "miracle" that was Nora Aunor's 'Himala,' chosen by CNN viewers as the greatest Asian film of all time.

Ateneo Prof. Danton Remoto wrote a critique on the Ricky Lee novel, saying the first-time novelist "is a master of prose, capturing for us in these clipped terse lines the sharpness and cutting qualities of love - or its absence."
