The truth about Richard's heroism

IT seems that Richard Gutierrez the hero has feet of clay, after all.

An eyewitness account recently published say that volunteer workers of a large rescue group from Olongapo City which included the Subic Bay Disaster Management Committee of the Subic Bay Management Authority were the ones who actually rescued Cristine Reyes and not Richard.

Apparently, Richard's speedboat had gone astray because of the strong flood current. He couldn't have reached Cristine's home at 1a. m. as he claimed because the current was too strong and the floodwater did not subside until 3 a. m. Allegedly, he was found by the above-mentioned rescue group which explains his presence when the volunteer workers got to save Cristine and her family from the rooftop of their submerged home.

If it's true, we could say that indeed in show business and in real life, some if not most things are not what they seem. Is the loss of credibility worth it when the truth happens to be discovered as it is wont to be? Just asking....

Marian Rivera is perceived not to like the way Rhian Ramos, Dingdong Dantes' current love partner in the soap "Stairway to Heaven," flirt harmlessly with rumored boyfriend Dong in between takes.

While Marian and Dingdong do not verbally admit the real status of their relationship, it has become a presumed fact nonetheless because of the non-verbal cues noted by people around them.

Should it be proven beyond doubt, Marian's jealousy arising from insecurity would further lend considerable truth to the real nature of their relationship.

If so, how is Marian handling insecurity and jealousy especially with Dingdong having had to spend time with different leading ladies in the set and getting to know them as people? What could Dingdong do to make Marian less insecure and jealous with the end-in-view of making the relationship flourish? Just asking....

NADINE SHOULD THINK SHE CAN
IT is quite normal for Nadine Samonte to feel the pressure, after all, replacing Sunshine Dizon in the upcoming soap opera of GMA 7, "Tinik sa Dibdib" is a giant task for an emerging star like her inasmuch as she would have to meet the high expectations of a lot of different people who matter.

If there is anything at all to recognize in the recent turn of events is clearly the fact that producers see Nadine's potential as an actress.

And now that she's given the chance to prove her worth, Nadine should learn how to make pressure work for her by thinking that indeed she can play lead roles just like anybody else.

We see in Nadine's feelings nowadays the birth pains of an emerging star. Based on her track record so far, we know that she can pass this baptism of fire but only if she really thinks that she can.

Be it as it may, would Nadine allow pressure to help her by doubling her efforts to perfect her craft? Would she be able to turn challenges into opportunities by showing her talent and mettle to withstand pressure? Just asking...
