"The Search Is Over" for American Idol's first blind contestant, Scott MacIntyre who finished eighth. Scott left his comfort zone by playing the guitar instead of the piano when he gave his rendition of the Survivor song. But the 23-year-old from Scottsdale, AZ, got the fewest of America's 34 million votes.

On the next Performance Night, April 15 (Wednesday), the Top 7 finalists--Kris Allen, Anoop Desai, Matt Giraud, Danny Gokey, Allison Iraheta, Adam Lambert, and Lil Rounds--will take the stage to perform songs of the cinema. They will be under the guidance of director Quentin Tarantino in an "Idol at the Movies"-themed show.

Meanwhile, on the Results Night on April 16, (Thursday), Jennifer Hudson returns to the Idol stage to perform her new single, "If This Isn't Love." The Grammy- and Oscar-winning singer-actress was an alumna of AI Season 3 before she was cast in a prized role for the movie Dreamgirls.

Meanwhile, pop princess Miley Cyrus will sing "The Climb" from Hannah Montana: The Movie.

American Idol Season 8 airs on Q Channel 11, Wednesdays and Thursdays, 6:00 p.m., via satellite, with replays at 8:30 p.m. on the same night, and on weekends, at 5:00 p.m.
