UPDATED TV Ratings (Jan. 9-11): Jessica Soho and Family Feud top weekend primetime viewing

GMA-7's musical-variety show SOP grabbed the lead from rival ASAP '09 in last Sunday's, January 11, daytime race. SOP posted a rating of 18.2 percent against ASAP's 16.2 percent.

Dear Friend, featuring the replay of the Mark Herras-Paolo Contis gay love story, took the No. 3 spot with 14 percent. It was followed by Showbiz Central (13.5 percent) and Takeshi's Castle (12.3 percent).

Meanwhile, Richard Gomez's game show Family Feud: Celebrity Edition topped the primetime race with 27.6 percent.

Kap's Amazing Stories and Mel & Joey tied for second place with identical 26 percent; followed by Rated K (22 percent), the TV premiere of Desperadas 1, and All Star K to complete the Top 5.

The rest of the Top 10 were occupied by TV Patrol World; The Singing Bee; Ful Haus; the TV coverage of Sharon Cuneta's birthday special, Songs of My Heart; and Goin' Bulilit.

Eat Bulaga! held on to its No. 1 position last Saturday, January 10, to lead all daytime programs. The longest-running noontime show generated a rating of 24.4 percent.

Pinoy Records came in second place with 20 percent while Willie Revillame's Wowowee finished third with 17.9 percent.

Other shows that made it in the Top 10 are the following: Wish Ko Lang, Komiks Presents Dragonna, Startalk, Takeshi's Castle, Entertainment Live, Cinema FPJ, and Pilipinas, Game KNB?.

The primetime race was ruled by Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho with 34.2 percent. It was followed by Mike Enriquez's Imbestigador (32.7 percent), Bitoy's Funniest Videos (28.8 percent); Kakasa Ka Ba Sa Grade 5? (23 percent); and Maalaala Mo Kaya and Kapuso Movie featuring Till I Met You, which both got 22 percent.

Also in the Top 10 are The Singing Bee, Sine Totoo, Banana Split, XXX, and TV Patrol World.

Eat Bulaga! also topped the daytime race last Friday, January 10, with 23 percent. It was followed by Wowowee (18.4 percent), Saan Darating ang Umaga? (18 percent), Parekoy (15.7 percent), and Daisy Siete (15.3 percent) to complete the Top 5.

Finally, Luna Mystika once again ruled the weekday primetime race by virtue of its 33.3 percent rating. Gagambino came in second with 31.2 percent while LaLola (30.2 percent) and 24 Oras (28.8 percent) took the third and fourth spots, respectively.

I Love Betty La Fea was on fifth place; followed by Money War, TV Patrol World, Dyosa, Eva Fonda, and Bubble Gang.

Here are the comparative TV ratings of ABS-CBN and GMA-7 programs from January 9 to 11 based on the overnight ratings of AGB Nielsen Philippines among Mega Manila households:
