| | Valerie Concepcion denies she snubbed Jenny Miller Author: Bernie Franco "Nagbeso pa po kami," explained Wowowee host Valerie Concepcion, belying Jenny Miller's accusations of her being unfriendly at Dra.Vicki Belo's anniversary party held last week. Jenny told the press during the event that Valerie was unreceptive towards her and prevented her from occupying a seat at the same table.
But when Valerie aired her side on The Buzz last August 17, it was quite a different story from Jenny's."Dun sa napanood kong VTR, ang sabi niya hindi ko raw siya pinansin nung nag-hi siya sa akin. Dun pa lang parang mali na," said the bubbly host/actress.Valerie said that she returned Jenny's greeting and she stood up from her seat to kiss her. "Wala naman pong nagtanong sa akin kung pwedeng umupo. Kahit po yung staff (who was with Jenny) hindi siya nagtanong kasi siguro in the first place alam niyang si Angel (Locsin) ang katabi ko," Valerie explained. Valerie could only think of one reason, which Jenny could have heard and misinterpreted when they came up to her. "Yun po 'yung time na sinabi ko sa kasama niyang staff ni Doctor Belo na, 'Ate, nandiyan na raw si Angel pakisundo naman siya sa labas.'" Later, Jenny insisted in her interviews that Valerie refused to give her a seat at the table when she and the Belo assistant asked her. "Feeling ko po na-misinterpret niya 'yung sinabi ko na akala niya nagpaparinig ako na parating na si Angel kaya hindi siya pwedeng umupo don," Valerie said. When the host left the event and was about to go home, a media person approached her and told her that Jenny was pissed off by what she did. "Instead na pauwi na ko bumalik pa ako sa loob at nilapitan ko si Jenny tapos tinanong ko siya, 'Jenny meron daw tayong issue?' Ganun pa ka-inosente ang tanong ko," she described.
