Valerie Concepcion: ready to date again

Valerie Concepcion wowed members of the press with her much slender figure during the launch of her Slendance instructional exercise dance video. The actress-TV host revealed that from 116 lbs, she's now down to 108 since she began taking Slenda slimming pills five months ago.

But apart from her body, another hot item of the press con was her love life. Valerie revealed the real score between her two suitors: Magnolia basketball team star player Dondon Hontiveros and a businessman suitor from Australia.

"We (Dondon) are dating but not exclusively. I'm still free to see anyone. For the longest time that we've been dating I think I know him well enough. Pero kasi ngayon meron pa siyang mga personal things na inaasikaso, at ako naman my priority right now is my career. But we're enjoying each other's company." she said.

Valerie and Dondon met two years ago and after hitting it off, they started going out. But she stressed that Dondon knows that she's open to other suitors.

However, the Wowowee host said that the basketball star currently feels a bit threatened because of her new admirer. This suitor, who Valerie named as Paul, is a Filipino businessman based in Australia. She described him as a 34-year old who doesn't look a day over 27.

Paul had seen Valerie on Wowowee over TFC, and the two had the chance to meet when he came over to Manila two weeks ago. "I have a friend na customer niya sa salon yung secretary nung guy. Sabi ng secretary sa friend ko gusto daw ako ma-meet nung guy kasi soon babalik na daw siya sa Australia. Tinanong ako nung friend ko kung pwede daw pumunta si Paul sa Wowowee, so ako naisip ko wala namang masama."

Paul also sent flowers to Valerie at the Wowowee studio and at her house while he was in Hong Kong, but she has yet to go out with him since he is always out of the country on business. Valerie said that Paul is about to return to Australia probably next week, though he continuously makes an effort to send gifts for her and her daughter.

Aside from hosting Wowowee everyday, Valerie will begin shooting the Octoarts movie One Night Only in September with Katrina Halili.
