| Valerie will never fall for a DOM![]() Author: Ethel Ramos UNTIL now, this much-admired and well-liked performer is reportedly still nurturing ill-feelings towards her daughter-in-law. She just cannot accept the fact that she left her son, who is very much in love with the wife. The performer had no choice but to give them her blessing when the couple got married, although her sons decision to settle down at an early age frustrated her. She had big dreams for him. For a while, she thought marriage would do her son good. He became responsible and caring, especially after having kids. Then the big blow came. The daughter-in-law wanted out of the marriage and the performers much-nurtured son allowed her to leave. "Actually," said a kibitzer, "among the three of them, siya lang hanggang ngayon ang hindi pa nagle-let go." *** Although it has been more than a year since she and director Lino Cayetano have broken up, Bianca Gonzales says she is still loveless. She says its not because of lack of suitors, but she is just enjoying her freedom. But has she moved on? "Oo naman," she says. "I have no hurt feelings. When I see him, we talk. Imposible kasing di kami magkita, since we both work for the same network (ABS-CBN)." What did she learn from the break-up? "Marami. But Id rather not articulate them. After all, what Lino and I had together was okay while it lasted," she says. Bianca is busier now that the season two of "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Edition" has started. Not even if he is the richest guy on earth. And how old is a D.O.M. to her? "Mga 40 and older," she replied. Has there been any attempt from a D.O.M. to woo her? "Wala pa naman, awa ng Diyos," said Valerie. The young single mother said she does not regret that she has remained loveless after giving birth three years ago. She has learned a lot from her past relationship with the father of her daughter. She was 16 then, young and naïve, and she thought her happiness was with him. And its good that Valerie has a lot of assignments to keep her busy. She hosts "Wowowee" with Willie Revillame, Pokwang and Mariel Rodriguez Monday to Saturday. She has been recently tapped to play Vhong Navarros leading lady in a movie he will soon do for Star Cinema. "Im glad my parents are around to support me. My mom looks after my daughter when I am at work," she disclosed. *** Balikbayan John James Uy was a finalist in "Be Bench," a modeling contest sponsored by the clothing brand, Bench. But he put one over grand winners Carlo Guevarra and Regine Angeles when ABS-CBN chose him to be the third party in the Kim Chiu-Gerald Anderson starrer, the teleserye, "Love Spell: Cindy-rella." In "Love Spell: Cindy-rella," John plays Prince William, who fell for Cindyrella, when she attended his 21st held in their palace. The series started airing last Sunday. It will last for 13 weeks, John said. Also in the cast are Pilita Corales, Sheryl Cruz, Jackie Lou Blanco, Andrew E, Sheryn Regis, Mara Lopez and Kiray Celis.
