Although Derek Ramsay is open about his romance with Angelica Panganiban, she was absent at the premiere of his movie which is currently showing, "And I Love You So," that also stars Bea Alonzo and Sam Milby.

Instead, Derek was with his parents who, he admits, may not have understood the Tagalog dialog in the movie. But Derek reveals seeing his dad wipe away tears in several dramatic scenes.

In interviews with him during the promo of "And I Love You So," not once did he mention Angelica’s name.

The sweethearts will soon be doing a movie together, "I Love You … Goodbye," which is the Metro Manila Film Festival entry of Star Cinema.

With them are Gabby Concepcion and Kim Chiu.
