Watch KC and Richard in Greece "For the First Time"

Richard Gutierrez and KC Concepcion share anecdotes about their ten-day trip to Santorini island, Greece. This Star Cinema movie will open in cinemas nationwide starting August 27.

After a ten-day trip in Greece, Star Cinema's newest love team Richard Gutierrez and KC Concepcion share their experiences in Santorini island and the things they discovered about each other.

Richard immediately dispelled notions that the daughter of Megastar Sharon Cuneta and heartthrob Gabby Concepcion is a princess who wants to be waited upon hand-and-foot. "After spending ten days with KC in Greece, talagang nakapag-bonding po kami dun at nakilala ko siya ng husto. Pero may mga ugali pa din si KC na dun ko lang din na-discover.

"Kung iisipin po natin, lahat tayo, 'pag inisip natin si KC, meron agad tayong certain image na naiisip na parang prinsesa siya. Pero kung makikilala niyo po siya ng husto, try traveling with her. Napaka-down-to-earth po ni KC," he says about his leading lady.

For her part, KC reveals that Richard was also very nurturing but he spent every chance he could get to catch his much-needed sleep. "Sobrang takaw-tulog po si Chard! Apart from that, talagang mabait siya sa lahat," she says. The GMA-7 star defends himself by saying that he has not been getting enough sleep for the past three years, so he took this opportunity to get enough sleep and gather energy for the work ahead.

KC also observed that Richard was at first uneasy with the crew and staff since this is the first time that he is doing a movie under Star Cinema. "Nung una, nakita ko na ilang pa sa kanya yung mga kasama naming crew...I think partly because isa siyang Kapuso and alam naman natin kung paano siya tratuhin ng GMA, kaya siguro dahil doon, yung mga tao, naiilang sa kanya, iniisip kung ano ba ugali niya. Pero after a while, nakita ko na napakadali niyang pakisamahan."

The movie's title, For The First Time, not only refers to their first tandem but also their first-time experiences in doing the film. This movie marks the first time that Richard is working with ABS-CBN's film outfit, Star Cinema. This is also his first time to work with Ms. Joyce Bernal.

Greece is a seismically active island because of the presence of many volcanoes. Around 3,500 years ago, Santorini witnessed an awesome volcanic explosion that occurred in the Aegean Sea. This resulted in a huge caldera that is approximately four miles in diameter.

One experience that is very memorable for Richard and KC was the earthquake that occurred in Santorini on their second day. Aside from that incident, the stars simply enjoyed the wonders of Greece. "Halos lahat po ng pagkain sa Greece, lahat ng salads natikman namin. Naglakad-lakad po kami dun, so nakapag-usap po kami ng maayos bilang magkaibigan," reveals KC.

Richard adds: "Pati po yung sunset, yung hot spring...naging adventurous lang po kami dun sa Greece."

For The First Time also stars Eddie Gutierrez, Phillip Salvador, and Pilar Pilapil. Also in the cast are Geoff Eigenmann, Candy Pangilinan, Ana Roces, Bubbles Paraiso, Jake Cuenca, Beatriz Saw, Denise Laurel, and Carla Humphries.

This KC Concepcion-Richard Gutierrez starrer will open in cinemas nationwide starting August 27.

Mall shows of For The First Time are scheduled for August 17 (SM Bacoor), August 23 (Glorietta) and August 24 (SM North Edsa).
