Posh Nails, one of the plushiest nail care destinations in town, announces its new services for those who want the ultimate pampering for their hands and feet.

“We are pleased to offer hand and feet microdermabrasion; coffee or green tea manicure/pedicure from one of the world’s best nail care specialists, OPI; back paraffin; and Brazilian wax. Aside from these, we also have eyelash extensions. And as an added bonus, we are now open until midnight, to accommodate our clients who may want to visit us even later in the evening. That’s longer pampering hours for tired souls who want to relax after a stressful day,” says 28-year-old Catherine “Cat” Ilacad, owner of this luxurious haven.

“All our new services are designed to smoothen and soften the skin on the hands, feet and the back. We use Gigi — a mango hand and body lotion applied thinly to prep the back for the back paraffin,” Cat explains. Using five coats of paraffin gets rid of backaches and body stress. For maximum absorption, the paraffin is wrapped in plastic protectors then covered with a towel. After 15 minutes, the towel, protector and paraffin are removed thoroughly and the back is massaged for 20 minutes.

Television host and multi-talented actress Rica Peralejo loves this service. “Back paraffin is a welcome change from the usual back massage. Aside from relieving me of the daily tension juggling my time between my studies, tapings and my morning show, it also keeps my skin soft and smooth,” she says.

Popular TV host Valerie Concepcion, meanwhile, loves to spoil her hands and feet with the coffee or green tea manicure/pedicure. “I find it so invigorating when the nail technician immerses my feet in water with either green tea or coffee soak. And the massage using OPI cappuccino lotion or green tea scrub and white tea lotion really relaxes me and makes my hands and feet silky smooth,” she enthuses.

“We are happy that Rica and Valerie are pleased with the services at Posh Nails. They also take pleasure in the microdermabrasion for hands and feet, which uses a special crème with invigorating crystal resurfacing complex, peppermint oil provides with rejuvenating benefits and rose oil that soothes and hydrates skin,” Cat explains.

Cristine Reyes, one of today’s biggest stars, is another regular client of Posh Nails. “For fashionistas on the go, the eyelash extensions are a big help. They enhance my eyes and make me look better on camera,” she says.
