MANILA - Young star and "Us Girls" host Meagan Young admitted that she is now dating a non-celebrity guy.

In an interview with ABS-CBNNEWS.com, the 19-year-old actress said her current flame is a college student who is a "very private person." She said they have been dating exclusively for some months.

"Hindi ko pwedeng sabihin pa kasi wala pa naman talaga. Pero yes, we are exclusively dating. Mga months na din," Young said.

Young, known for her role as Marcela in the defunct ABS-CBN hit series "I Love Betty La Fea", said that she met her suitor through mutual friends. She said she likes him for his sense of humor, his "sweetness", and his being understanding.

It has reportedly been 3 years since her last relationship. Young said she has recently felt more inspired about her personal life and career.

"Matagal na, mga three years na. I was still high school then, noong nagkaroon ako ng boyfriend," she said.

Young is currently standing in for Studio 23's "US Girls'" host Chesca Garcia-Kramer, who just gave birth to her first child with basketball star Doug Kramer.

"Us Girls" hosts Iya Villania, Angel Aquino, and Young offer the modern Filipina lifestyle tips and features on fashion, beauty, fitness, travel, food, and gadgets.

This coming August 20, Thursday, they will hail this year's style royalty on the very first "Us Girls August Awards" which will be held at the New Eastwood Mall in Libis, Quezon City.
