| Who will stay; who will go?Author: Malaya EIGHT gone, seven left. Hollywood Dream has trimmed down more than 200 professional and amateur actors to fifteen, and now there are only seven remaining thespians in the running to be a Hollywood star. Last week in the action episode shot in the beaches of Boracay, Juddha Paolo became the eighth person in the final 15 to be eliminated from the competition. A surprise to many, as Juddha has had experience in boxing and should have taken the challenge as a piece of cake. Still in Boracay, "Hollywood Dream" shifts from action to horror. The remaining contenders face resident judges Armida Siguion-Reyna and Joel Lamangan and guest judge director Lorenzo "Lore" Reyes. Who is likely to stay and go? Early in the show, the first three people to be eliminated were Andrea del Rosario, Miguel Vasquez and Minco Fabregas. Mickey Hyatt followed suit after the Broadway challenge. The show took a tougher twist with a comedy episode and bid goodbye to John Arcilla. It was a controversial, albeit revealing, week when same-sex and opposite-sex dreamers were asked to kiss in the romance challenge. Despite issues raised against Juddhas refusal to kiss Roxie Barcelo, it was Hillary Isaac who received the boot. Baron Geisler, Jaimies adopted "little brother" in the set, was the next to go in the commercial episode. Then Juddha. By this time, the bond between the dreamers has become tight and tears aplenty are shed during eliminations. This weeks Boracay episode, another one will be eliminated. Who are the candidates? Roxie Barcelo, despite being the youngest in the group, has showed talent and spunk, even after that accident that gave her a wound in a leg. Raymond Bagatsing has been an easy favorite; no contesting his acting mettle. Pinky Amador, with the exemption of that single romance episode where everyone got failing marks, has always been at the helm. Rafael Rosell seems to always weasel his way through with his charms. Julia Clarete marks a little above Rafael with grades ranging from excellent to fair. Monica Llamas is almost at the same footing as Julia. Jaimie Wilson has consistently impressed the judges. Who will go? After Boracay, the six remaining finalists will be treated to a luxury Asian cruise via Superstar Virgo, the biggest luxury liner that cruises the Asia Pacific. But with the perks come the inevitable: only two will remain after that cruise- the final two who will be flown to Hollywood for their final challenge. Catch "Hollywood Dream" Sundays, 9 p.m. on ABC.
