Why Jericho and band broke up

Jericho Rosales has a new album under Star Records called "Change. "

According to the talented artist, aside from acting, singing is his other great passion.

"It's like second skin to me. I love music. In fact, there was a time when I chose it over acting, remember? That was the time when I formed my band Jeans. I believed that with music, I could reach out to more people!"

Speaking of his former band, why did they break up?

"It saddened me to the hilt but all of us had to earn money. Honestly, there were times before when I was on the verge of crying because I was only earning this much unlike in acting. Anyway, it (the experience) was worth it," Echo continues.

Meanwhile, are there cuts in his new album which he can dedicate to all the girls who were romantically linked to him in the past?

"I must say that the carrier single 'Pusong Ligaw' is perfect for Kristine (Hermosa). Meanwhile, 'Love Bug' is for Angelika (dela Cruz). For Carmen (Soo), there's the song 'Beautiful in My Eyes. ' Lastly, I dedicate the song 'I love Your Ways' to Heart (Evangelista)," he says.

This early, he is already being pitted against fellow Star Records artists Piolo Pascual and Sam Milby.

"I don't want to entertain the comparison in the first place. I believe we're doing different stuff like Piolo is the balladeer, Sam is the acoustic-rocker while I do a little of everything including jazz and hip hop. "

With regard his present love life, the hunky actor admits: "I'm single at the moment but that doesn't mean I'm lonely. Like any guy out there, I go on dates but there's still no commitment with someone. This time around, I'm open to the possibility of having a non-showbiz girlfriend," Echo says.
