Why Pauleen's lovelife suffers

ONE beautiful virtue that Pauleen Luna has is her love for family. After "Blue Moon," movie offers got scarce but TV hosting (in Eat Bulaga) soon occupied her time that even her relationship with Valenzuela Mayor Sherwin Gatchalian suffered.

She has just renewed her contract with Renew Placenta, her fourth year with them. Pauleen also does corporate shows locally and abroad. Now, she has a new show, "Adik Sa'Yo, " with Dennis Trillo, Jolina Magdangal and ex-boyfriend, Marvin Agustin.

Pauleen has also been a semi-regular on Bubble Gang. She's been there for one month now and enjoying every minute of it. On Friday night, she shares the fun again with Bubble Gang's regular hosts, Michael V, Ogie Alcasid, Wendell Ramos, Rufa Mae Quinto, Maureen Larrazabal, among others in TV commercial spoofs, sketches and gags.

Pauleen says that she's doing all these for her family. Love, for her, can wait.

CRISTINE GRATEFUL TO ABS, BUT...

Cristine Reyes' contract with ABS-CBN expired last May 31. Though she's being offered to renew it, it looks like she has no interest in doing so. She has not confirmed it yet but all indications say she's really going back to GMA7.

In fact, she said she won't mind playing contravida to a new star like Carla Abellana who will play the title role in the new series, Rosalinda.

That is despite the fact that Cristine made good performances in "Eva Fonda," 16 followed by several more exposures in "May Bukas Pa," Kahit Isang Saglit, Banana Split , Bud Brothers and many TV guestings. But she says she is so thankful to ABS for giving her the big break.

Some say she is returning to the Kapuso network all because of Dennis Trillo. But she and Dennis separately denied this. Cristine says she has realized that her friendship with some of GMA stars are more important than getting good breaks in the other station. But she denies that she did not get along well with some ABS stars she has worked with, especially in Banana Split.

BACK-TO-SCHOOL ON 'WOW, HAYOP'

IT'S back to school in Wow, Hayop (Bilib Ka Ba Nights) tonight as Jose Manalo plays the role of Batoy, a 'makulit' grade school student who always give headaches to his mom Kenkay, played by Mike 'Pekto'Nacua.

Featured videos are about a snow monkey, doggie wedding, kidney cat, hydro therapy dogs and more. Wally Bayola co-hosts the show.
