Isa na namang bagong palabas ang mapapanood simula April 19, 2009. Ito ang UFX o Unified Fighting Extreme in Mixed Martial Arts, isang reality-based show kung saan magko-compete ang mga participants in a tournament of intense martial combat tulad ng taekwondo, hapkido, jiu-jitsu, judo, karate, kung fu, boxing, wrestling, kickboxing and grappling. Ang scoring ay base sa PROMMAC approved rules for striking (blows with hands, feet, knees and elbows) and grappling (submission, choke holds, throws or takedowns).

Bukas ang UFX sa lahat ng mga amateur fighters in mixed martial arts at ito ay gaganapin sa Victory Central Mall sa Monumento, Caloocan City sa mga sumusunod na araw: April 19, May 10, May 24 at June 14, 2009. Halagang P50,000 ang mapapanalunan ng magiging champion sa nasabing labanan.

Sa ngayon ay may ongoing negotiation with Solar Sports-CS9 para mapapanood ang bawat laban nationwide. Ang registration tryouts at inquiries ay ginagawa sa PROMMAC (Professional Mixed Martial Arts Council, Inc., 2nd Floor Tapondo Building, Edsa, Cubao, Quezon City). Maaaring tawagan sina Master Gavileno and Ronald Gavileno sa Tel. No. 413-0650. Nagsimula na ito noong Marso 1 hanggang April 15, 2009.

Ang Unified Figthing Espress (UFX) in Mixed Martial Arts is produced by Jumpstart Productions Inc. and Fahrenheit FX with thre goals in mind:

1. To popularize the sport and inspire the Filipino Youth to partake in activities that promote general well-being, fitness, and peaceful self-defense.

2. To unify all amateur Mixed Martial Arts Fighters under one professionally-run tournament, and foster self-regulation.

3. To upgrade standards, ethics and practices for the sport to bring about meaningful contributions that will bring the Filipino MMA fighters to both regional and world Olympics levels.

UFX in Mixed Martial Arts will be hosted by Will Devaughn and Princess Ryan. The competition consists of 13 weeks or one full season on TV. Each episode will feature 7 amateur bouts among mixed martial arts fighters gunning for the weekly championship. The weekly champions, will then compete for the monthly crown. Then the monthly champs and a wild card entry will battle it out for the season championship. The tournament envisions to have 4 season champs for the year then they will be set off to a grand finale at year's end.

UFX is the brainchild of Jumpstart's Wheyee Lozada, LeGit Entertainment's Lyn Tamayo and Fahrenheit's Pat Perez (co-creator and pioneering director of the GMA-7 afternoon show Daisy Siete).
