FREEDOM DAY - A young star is all set to declare her independence.

She feels she's old enough to take care of her career and personal life, including lovelife.

From hereon, she'll buy the things she wants to buy. After all, she's been earning hard, hard earned by the way, her own money for years.

She also intends to live on her own, in a condo most probably.

The young star has provided for her family and it's about time she considered her own welfare and happiness.

Of course, she'll also handle her own finances.

Not that her parents squandered her hard earned money. It's just that she's of age - mature and responsible enough - to decide what to spend and how much to save and invest.

Nothing new really. In the lives of stars who are the bread and butter of their families, freedom day inevitably comes. Think Vilma Santos, Alma Moreno, Rio Locsin.

THIRD TRY - Should Richard Gomez run for congressman in Ormoc next year, it'll be his third try at politics.

Goma has a formidable asset in the person of his wife, the beautiful Lucy Torres, daughter of Ormoc.
