Zanjoe sleeps over at Mariel’s house

DON’T expect ex-flames Bianca Gonzales and director Lino Cayetano to reconcile anytime soon. Bianca reportedly is now in love with someone else. She is unwilling to talk about the new man in her life, though.

Direk Lino Cayetano is currently in New York, we heard. Why and what he is doing there our source did not say.

When Direk Cayetano broke up with KC Concepcion, most everyone thought he will go back to Bianca, who, some felt, will take him back.

Direk Cayetano and Bianca were sweethearts before the latter joined the first "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Edition." While inside Kuya’s house, she and fellow housemate Zanjoe Marudo became close.

That closeness, most speculated, must have triggered the break-up of Direk Lino and Bianca.

How ironic that Zanjoe’s current girlfriend is Mariel Rodriguez, Bianca’s best friend. Mariel and Bianca also co-host the talk program "Entertainment Live," on ABS-CBN every Saturday.

"She (Bianca) is happy for me," said Mariel, when asked what Bianca has to say about her romance with Zanjoe. "And I am happy, too, that she is in love again."

And how’s Zanjoe as a boyfriend? we asked Mariel.

"He is super great," she replied happily. "It’s good that we are in the same profession kaya we understand each other."

Both of them, Mariel admitted, are so busy they hardly have time for each other. "Kaya naman kung sinuwerte at pareho kaming may oras, we try to make the most of it."

Zanjoe is in the series "Dyosa" and his role requires him to tape three times a week. "E, sometimes, inuumaga sila, ‘di ba?" said Mariel, "kaya, after a taping, sa bahay na lang siya natutulog."

Mariel herself is busy as a bee. She doesn’t only host the daily game program, "Wowowee," but she also co-hosts the DZMM program "Showbiz Mismo" with Bianca and Jobert Sucaldito.

"Actually, we are in the show just to react on whatever chismis sa showbiz Jobert and Wendell discuss. Pero clueless kami ni Bianca kung blind item na ang kanilang pinag-uusapan.

"But I’d rather not talk about what we sometimes discover about the chismis," Mariel said.

Since Mariel was talking about chismis, we asked her if reports are true that she doesn’t see eye-to-eye with her co-host Valerie Concepcion in "Wowowee"?

"Sa totoo lang, I’m surprised with that chismis. Val (Valerie’s pet name) and I are not just co-hosts; we are also friends. Kaya nga kahit pagod ako noong Saturday, I went to attend her daughter Fiona’s fourth birthday sa Shakey’s."

Seen at St. Luke’s Hospital last Friday was Michael V. With him was his pregnant wife and their son.

Michael must have been there to accompany his wife, a former stewardess, for her check-up. The couple are reportedly expecting their third offspring.

Also at the St. Luke’s Hospital that Friday was Jericho Rosales. He was alone.

Former Senator Ramon Revilla, Sr. is still confined at St. Luke’s. Hopefully, according to Senator Bong Revilla and his younger sister, Andeng Ynares, their father he will be released any day this week.
