| Zara's woesColumn: If I Know WHAT do Zara Aldana and Janina San Miguel have in common? They both won major titles in their respective pageants as Mutya ng Pilipinas Asia-Pacific 2007 and Bb. Pilipinas-World 2008, respectively. And both have been booed for their poor command of the English language. While Zara was forced to resign last year, Janina is now enjoying this latest beauty pageant brouhaha. In the midst of this controversy, it reminds us of Zara's resignation issue that earned her the monicker "controversial beauty queen" and, eventually, paved her way to Bahay ni Kuya as one of the Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Edition 2 housemates. Would Janina follow Zara's footsteps? Zara is not spared to be interviewed on Janina's issue. In fact, she was asked to guest on a show on the Kapuso network. However, the Kapamilya channel barred her from guesting. Well, that's understandable because these two networks don't see eye to eye. But why does ABS-CBN seem to freeze her career? It seems that the Kapamilya network has no plans of pushing the career of Joey Aquino's talent. To this date her only exposure is on "Wheel of Fortune" with her no talk role. Is it because Zara is not Inglesera? 'HORTON' BONDS FAMILY AMIDST the hustle and bustle of everyday life, it's hard to balance our own schedules with kids' activities.
