The residence in Pasig where Carmina Villaroel, her partner Zoren Legaspi, and their twins Mavy and Casey live is still submerged in water.

"Hanggang tuhod pa sa labas ng bahay," reports Dolor Guevarra, Carmina's talent manager. "Sa loob ng bahay, may ilang parte na lang na may tubig pa."

Right now, according to Dolor, Zoren, Carmina, the twins and their household helpers stay with a sister of Carmina in Paranaque.

"Kaso gusto na niyang mag-report for work Wednesday (October 7)," says Dolor, "Mula pa noong dumating si Ondoy, Carmina has not reported for 'Sis' (which she hosts daily with sisters Janice and Gelli de Belen).

"Hindi rin siya nakakapag-tape for her other show on Q Channel 11, 'Day Off'," she adds.

Since Paranaque is quite far from Carmina's place of work and from the school of the twins, Zoren and Carmina are planning to rent a condo unit in the Quezon City area for at least a month.

"Pero ang hirap daw maghanap ng matitirhan na condo unit ngayon," Dolor says. "Yes, lalo sa area ng Quezon City."

According to Dolor, at the height of Ondoy, Carmina and Zoren had no choice but to occupy the only space available in a hotel within the Ortigas area.

"It was a suite," Dolor relates. "And it cost them P11,000, yes, P11,000 a day.

"At that time, may sakit din kasi ang kanilang anak na si Casey."

It's good to hear that after Agot Isidro's portrayal of Ingrid, the vicious high-profile wife of a foreign businessman who later discovers that her husband was previously married to someone lesser in status than she is, she will be playing a nice character in the movie "Ang Darling Kong Aswang," APT Entertainment and M-Zet Productions' Metro Manila Film Festival entry for this year.

It is Agot's first time to do a movie with Vic Sotto, who is also paired for the first time with Agot's fellow Kapamilya, Cristine Reyes.

"Ang Darling Kong Asawa" will have at the helm blockbuster director Tony Reyes, who has directed Vic in his numerous blockbuster films.

In his previous MMFF entries, Vic had another Kristine (Hermosa), for his leading lady. Kristine is now, of course, being linked to Vic's son, Oyo Sotto.

"In those films na ginawa namin ni Kristine," Vic explained, "she played an enkantada. Dito sa 'Ang Asawa Kong Aswang' Cristine will be a vampire. Like Kristine, she will play my wife."

It will be back to GMA 7 for Ynna Asistio once the ABS-CBN romance-comedy series "George and Cecil," starring the husband and wife team of Judy Ann Santos and Ryan Agoncillo, ends.

"Inarbor lang talaga siya ni Bobot (referring to Edgar Mortiz, producer and director in ABS-CBN) for this project," said Nadia Montenegro, Ynna's mom, "Since maganda naman ang role na gagampanan ni Ynna sa 'George and Cecil,' sabi ko kay Tita Annabelle (Rama), who handles the career of Ynna, pagbigyan na namin si Bobot,

"Pumayag naman si Tita Anabelle."

Ynna, again, according to Nadia, will soon do a series for GMA 7.

Ynna turned 18 last September 25, the eve of Ondoy's rage. And, as planned, she had a coming-out party held at the PSE Auditorium in Tektite in Ortigas, Pasay.

Although some of the guests arrived late due to the heavy rains, Ynna was happy with her party. Almost all her friends from GMA 7 were there. And for her first dance, she had no less than her dad, former Caloocan Mayor Boy Asistio, for her partner.

Her escort for the evening, as she had wished, was Mark Herras, who gifted her with a brand-new Macbook.
