| | Cora's Expectations From Jillian Season 1, Episode 01 Dazed and confused, Jillian loses her consciousness in the middle of a busy street in Korea while in search for Jonathan, her best friend who is secretly in love with her. Instantly, her life back in the Philippines before she even stepped foot on Korea flashed before her. It is revealed that before receiving a grant of short course on Asian cuisine in Korea as a prize in a cooking competition, she happens to be an ordinary care-giving student and an obedient daughter. To be a successful care-giver abroad is her mother's dream for her, so she is greatly displeased upon hearing of the opportunity Jillian has in hand. But despite her mother's disapproval, she chooses to push through with her dream of becoming a great chef, with the help of his father consent. On the other hand, after breaking a shoulder during one of his father's fist fights, Jonathan's chance to garner a gold medal on the upcoming SEA games swimming competition is put at risk.
