Gus and Harley duck into the soundstage of a soap opera to hide from the police. The two pose as dayplayers on the show and when night falls, they have fun among all the different sets. Alan is furious when he finds out that Bill is planning on adpting Emma. Alex tries to dissuade Olivia from going forward, but Olivia refuses to listen to her. When Olivia disses her, Alex joins forces with Alan. Frank, Josh, and Sandy bond over the troubles in their life.
