His dream of becoming a good chef only comes second to his purpose of asking Jillian to marry him. When he finally finds the courage to admit his love for Jillian with a ring, Jillian immediately dismisses the idea. For her, Jonathan is just her best friend. And in order to avoid hurting his feelings, she decides to take a step back from him. In contrast, Jillian finally sees TJ in a new light. After seeing him taking good care of a lost child, she somehow had a glimpse on his good side. Ironically, though for different reasons, both of them are in search of the same person, a girl named Erika.
