Sergio (Dingdong Dantes) arrives just before the Mayor who will officiate his and Marimar's (Marian Rivera) wedding leaves. The newlyweds go straight to the Santibañez's resort despite the disapproval of Renato (Richard Gomez) and Angelika (Katrina Halili). Angelika tells MariMar that she wants them to be friends again. She arranges a party for MariMar and offers the latter a makeover. Angelika intentionally overdoes MariMar's make-up and presents the clown-looking MariMar to the public during the party.
