Playhouse Disney in Asia was launched in 2006. Formerly a programming block on Disney Channel Asia weekdays from noon to 2:00 PM. The programs are similar to the Playhouse Disney Channel in the United States of America. However the channel may also carry some non-Disney programming like Clifford the Big Red Dog, Sagwa, the Chinese Siamese Cat, and Harry and His Bucket Full of Dinosaurs. Programming on the channel is uninterrupted by commercials. Playhouse Disney Channel is available in the Singapore, Indonesia, the Philippines, South Korea, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Thailand, Brunei and Vietnam. Other Asian countries like Taiwan and India has their own version of the said channel.
