seaQuest DSV (1993)

Series set in the year 2018 which follows the adventures of a gigantic submarine as its crew explores new worlds beneath the sea, including colonies and mining operations. The maverick captain of the sub, Nathan Bridger, was coaxed back to the military from his quiet life researching dolphin behavior after the sudden loss of his wife and son.
