Cast Submission

Name

The screen name of the person. Use the format, "Last Name, First Name" unless if it is of Asian descent. See related documentation regarding the Naming Convention.

Role

• If a person has multiple roles in a series or an episode, list them once only if you are not able to provide description for the character. You can assign multiple entries for each person if you are able to provide detailed information about the character.
• If you are going to submit multiple roles in one entry, use the order of how the name appeared in the series or episode.
• Do not include spoiler information in the character role.
• See related documentation for more guidelines regarding Role.

Self Portrayal

Choose Yes if the person is portraying a role as himself or herself. If you are not sure, choose Uncertain.

Gender

Choose the gender of the character and not the actor's or actress' gender. Animals and inanimate objects can be listed and their gender can also depend on the character they play. There are additional guidelines for Gender. See separate documentation.

Corpses, paintings, still photographs, mummies, etc., are considered inanimate objects.

Short Description

Brief description of the character. Short description must not contain spoiler information. Try to limit the description to 500 characters or less.

Long Description

Detailed description of the character can contain spoiler information. Long Description has a separate page for the character.

First Appearance

The date the character first appeared in the series. If an episode guide exist for the series, you can also choose the episode where the character first appeared in. This will be use for sorting in the person's TV credit. Date of Appearance can only be seen if a Long Description is available.

Last Appearance

The date the character last appeared in the series. If an episode guide exist for the series, you can also choose the episode the character last appeared in. Date of Appearance can only be seen if a Long Description is available.

Credited As

If the name of the actor, actress, or band is different from her regular screen name, enter the name by which they were credited in the series.

Season

The season the person was first credited as a cast member of the series. If there is a season guide for the series, you can also view the season crediting for the person.

Order

• Default - is the default order of how the cast is displayed in the page. Inactive cast members should be listed at the bottom.
• Visual - is the order of how the character appeared in the series.
• Spoken - is the order of how the character was first heard in the series.
• Credit
  • The order of how the cast appeared during the credit of a series. Credits from the last episode supersedes all other episodes.
  • In most cases, the cast list is split between the opening credits and end credits; in those cases, the two portions should be treated as one long cast list that happens to be interrupted by the actual episode in a series.
  • For miniseries that have separate cast lists for each segment, you should create the cast list by combining the most complete cast lists from each segment, then retaining only the first appearance of each cast member. In other words, list the complete cast from the first segment, followed by each additional name that appears in the cast for a later segment..
  • For documentaries where the people appearing on camera are generally not in a separate cast list, their first onscreen appearance where they are identified either by a caption or spoken name is used to determine the order. Any narrator/host listed in opening or closing credits would be treated as the first cast member, and would precede people identified only within the documentary.
  • Do not enter an order number for someone who is uncredited.

Image

Link to an image file for the character. The image must relate to the character and not the person portraying the character. Do not use image of the person from other series especially if they are portraying a different role. The image file must be 63x63 in pixel size.

Birth Date

The date of birth for that character and not the person who is portraying its role.

Occupation

The occupation of the character in the series.

Relationships

All characters linked or related to this character such as Father, Mother, Siblings, Best Friend, Husband, Wife, Grandparents, etc. Separate each character by a newline Relationships does not necessarily mean that the people has made a guest appearance or is part of the series cast. They can be implicitly mentioned by the character during an episode or by other characters during other episodes.

Miscellaneous

Voice Dubbers of a syndicated series should not be listed in the list of cast members. There is a different section for voice dubbers.
